A spectacular boxed collection of the great choral works of the Renaissance era, performed by none other than The Clerks of The Choir of New College, Oxford. These recordings document a period of unsurpassed richness and accomplishment in the field of sacred music. Featured on this recording are the works of such masters as Palestrina, representing Italy, Philippe De Monte, a Flemish master and one of the unacknowledged masters of French Renaissance music, Eustace Du Caurroy.

Members should be very familiar with the New College Choir as it has been featured for years in the Society. For those unfamiliar, the New College was founded in the year 1379, and the Choir has remained one of the world's finest, ever since. This collection is a tremendous treasure trove of gorgeous sacred music.
