To mark maestro Valery Gergiev's 25th anniversary with the Kirov company at the Mariinsky Theater, St. Petersburg, this box celebrates the glory of Russian epic opera with three outstanding Kirov productions, presenting the leading Russian singers of today performing under the baton of the company's charismatic music director.

This six-DVD set contains the bonus features Catching Up With Music (60-minute documentary) and Introducing Ruslan (18-minute interview with Gergiev).
